alright... it's 1:30 AM (nearly) as i start writing this and i really ought to go to bed but i wanna write one of these because it's been a little over a week and i feel bad. hi!!!
a brief tangent regarding the things i mentioned yesterday: not been doing great at keeping less than healthy food/drink out of me but i'm gonna put a hard limit on myself tomorrow and just drink a shitload of water, maybe go to the grocery store and get a ham steak or something because that isn't great for me either but surely it is better for me than, like, a whole deep dish pizza. i am on weird terms with eating which is why im gonna stop talking about it!!!!!
so! this week has been cool. i got rejected from target because they didn't think the hours i put in for a part time job worked for them but i will change this by changing the hours i am available from Some to Most because i will unfuck my sleep schedule if it means having income. my house is a little mean to me so i could use the money.
i also have a show on the 12th! it's for a meet-the-artist type event at my town's historical society, im gonna be playing for an hour. looking like a mix of my own songs and songs my bands and internet friends made... its gonna rock your socks off!!! hopefully this leads to having more gigs. probably gonna sell off the rest of my buzzfest cds there too while i'm at it since that show was shut down by the cops before i could play, which sucks shit but oh well it was out of my control.
i also wrote the first two non star songs in a while! they're called cave painting and i don't need luck so far. the latter is for songfight, so you'll probably hear that in a week or so. i need to get back in the swing of things lyrically and neither are my best work per se but a song is a song, i can trade out bad parts for better parts in the future when i come up with them.
think that's about all i have to say... there's a solo A Person Named Rose EP in the works done on tape coming up. it's possibly my most personal work yet which is why it isn't for JS. i don't even know if i wanna put it out yet but we'll see.
